£130,000 – £160,000 + Car Allowance, 30% Bonus and Strong Benefits

• Prior experience working as a Group Financial Controller for a large company.

The Role

The successful Group Financial Controller will manage the following.

• Manage the Group Finance Function.
• Directly support the Group CFO, Group CEO and CTO.
• Build a global finance function.
• Lead a talented global finance team.
• Manage the global group consolidation process.
• Oversee all group reporting, statutory accounting and tax reporting.
• Lead all process improvements and group standardisation.
• Oversee all financial controls, risk and governance.
• Support on all M&A activity.
• Select and implement a new consolidations finance system.
• Produce exceptional monthly reporting, KPI’s and management information.
• Present at board level.
• Manage some key external relationships – banks, PE firm, auditors, lawyers
• Have a direct link into the PE firm board.
• Feel happy building someone from scratch, but for a multi-billion turn over group.

As you will see this is a really varied role. We need someone who is comfortable with financial reporting, but also has the ability to drive commercial support and change.

We need someone who is happy with change and fixing issues.

Your Profile

• We are looking for a well-educated and bright qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent).
• Someone with prior experience being a Group Financial Controller for a large and global company.
• We need someone who is a technical expert who has the commercial mindset to build a best in class finance function.
