Senior Financial Analyst

Wokingham - Hybrid

£60,000-£70,000 + bonus and benefits

We are seeking a collaborative commercial finance professional with exceptional analytical and business partnering skills to join a brilliant international consumer products group in Wokingham.

This role drives performance across the largest UK division and works extensively with stakeholders across the organisation to guide decisions and strategy. If you're looking for a role that's less month end and more value add this could be a great fit!

The Role

The successful Senior Financial Analyst will manage the following:

  • Lead the annual planning process including preparation and review of sales and costs plans, timetable management, presentation reviews, feedback, analysis and reports through professional financial input and attendance at the annual operating plan presentation meetings.
  • Support other planning processes which include mid-year and projection reviews providing analysis and reports as appropriate in accordance with issued guidelines and assumptions and ensure timely submissions as per timetables.
  • Provide financial input and analysis to support decisions on Business Unit strategies, tactics and measurement of return on investment, working closely with sales, operations, marketing and finance stakeholders.
  • Preparation and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly sales and cost reports, to provide the business units with suitable information to facilitate control of the businesses.
  • Liaison with UK Shared Services to review month-end management accounts to ensure their accuracy.
  • Review of financial information with Business Unit Management, highlighting issues and opportunities and to ensure BU Management understand the financial position of the business.
  • Lead ERP and planning systems report development.
  • Liaison with UK Shared Services and European Finance.
  • Ensure month end accruals are in accordance with accounting policies
  • Oversee and review Balance sheet reconciliation for BU.

Your Profile

We are looking for a well-educated finalist level or qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) financial analyst.

Someone with prior experience as a Management accountant, finance business partner or within an FP&A role would be ideally suited to this opportunity, preferably with experience managing sales and revenue activities.

We need someone ambitious who has a commercial mindset and the people skills to add value and pro-actively make improvements across the function.

Salary & Benefits

£60,000 - £70,000 + bonus and benefits. This role is offered on a hybrid basis 3 days per week in office.
