We are looking for a fun, bright, and people-centric Head of Commercial Finance who is seeking a hands-on and progressive new role. This is a very fast-paced and creative business that is rapidly expanding.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
  • Strong FP&A experience – reporting through to commercial finance / data.
  • Ambitious, strong communicator with a good sense of humour.
  • Experience from retail, manufacturing or consumer products industries would be highly advantageous.

Based in London (3 days a week in the office), this role would suit a very commercial and hands-on FP&A leader motivated by raising the profile of commercial finance across the business.

This is one of the most unique, high-potential, and exciting FP&A roles currently available in London. What makes this role so interesting is the impact you can have on building an innovative function that is data and business partnering-led.

The Role:

This role will be based in Central London, joining an existing team of seven. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will take ownership of all FP&A, Reporting, Commercial Finance, and Business Partnering.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the global FP&A function.
  • Support the CFO in driving world-class insights and data across the wider business.
  • Implement and build a new KPI and reporting structure.
  • Drive analysis around product launches and performance.
  • Understand sales margins, pricing, and manufacturing costs.
  • Provide financial insights to optimise performance in retail, eCommerce, and manufacturing sectors.
  • Evaluate and support customer performance analysis.
  • Understand and apply updated revenue recognition rules.
  • Create a true culture of business partnering.
  • Build all forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Work with the wider team to ensure rigorous controls and processes are in place.
  • Support in reporting commercial results to key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing board packs and glossy accounts.
  • Report key numbers and analysis to the board and stock market.
  • Advise the CEO, CTO, and MD on commercial analysis.
  • Lead a number of key business initiatives and projects.

This is a varied and challenging role, working alongside a talented CFO and an ambitious leadership team.

Your Profile:

We are looking for an innovative commercial leader who is passionate about all aspects of FP&A and Business Partnering. Being able to work in London three days a week is critical.

While we are sector-agnostic, experience in Retail, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, or related industries would be particularly valuable.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chains, product margins, pricing strategies, and customer trends, with a proven ability to apply these insights in a high-growth environment.

Benefits:
