Director of FP&A

Employment type: Permanent
Salary: 125k/year - 140k/year

Director of FP&A

£125,000 – £140,000 + 20% Bonus

Wokingham | Hybrid (3 days a week) | PE-Backed | High-Growth B2B

This is where commercial finance meets real influence.

We’re working with a fast-scaling, private equity-backed business that is reshaping its market. With significant growth ahead, they’re looking for a Director of FP&A to lead planning, analysis and insight across the group - and help drive the next stage of expansion.

Amazing CFO and highly aquisitive. Lots going on! Think data, insights and business partnering.

The opportunity

You’ll be the go-to person for turning data into decisions. Reporting directly to an ambitious CFO, you’ll shape the financial strategy, challenge assumptions and provide the insight leadership needs to make the right calls at pace.

This is not a back-office reporting role. You’ll be in the room for the big conversations - growth strategy, investment decisions, pricing, market expansion - using your commercial instincts and modelling skills to make sure every move is backed by solid analysis.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading group-wide budgeting, forecasting and three-year planning
  • Building and owning a best-in-class FP&A function that blends data, insight and commercial thinking
  • Developing financial models to support strategic projects, acquisitions and market entry plans
  • Partnering with the board and PE investors to track performance and drive value creation
  • Creating dashboards and KPIs that keep senior leaders focused on what matters
  • Identifying opportunities for revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing FP&A team

We’d love to see

  • Senior FP&A leadership experience, ideally in a PE-backed or high-growth environment
  • Exceptional financial modelling and data analysis skills
  • A track record of influencing strategic decisions at board level
  • Experience in complex B2B or services sectors
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong academics
  • Commercial acumen combined with the ability to make the numbers tell a story

What’s on offer

  • £125,000 – £140,000 + 20% bonus
  • Direct exposure to board, investors and strategic decision-making
  • A chance to shape the finance function of a PE-backed growth story
  • Hybrid working with 3 days in Wokingham HQ

If you want a senior finance role where your insight shapes the big moves, this is it.
