London HQ | Global Reach | High-Margin | Hybrid

This is where finance meets real leadership.

We’re partnering with a high-performing, globally scaling business backed by strong private ownership. With serious momentum behind them, they’re looking for a commercially sharp CFO / FD to lead the charge on strategic finance, growth, and performance across international markets.

There’s a world-class team in place. Big ambitions. And a board that wants a finance leader, not just a safe pair of hands.

The Opportunity

You’ll sit at the heart of the business - reporting to the CEO and leading a 70+ strong global finance team across FP&A, reporting, commercial, systems and ops.

This isn’t a tidy-the-numbers role. It’s about shaping strategy, scaling internationally, and being a voice of clarity in the boardroom.

Think performance, insight, planning, and execution - across a truly global remit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the global finance function (FP&A, control, commercial, systems, reporting)
  • Acting as a key strategic partner to the board and international leadership team
  • Owning planning cycles, growth strategies, and long-range financial modelling
  • Preparing the business for future equity events (exit/M&A readiness)
  • Partnering with investors to track performance and unlock value
  • Driving insight-led decision making across pricing, market expansion and product strategy
  • Building a high-performing, commercially minded team with clear succession and development
  • Lead and managing a large and high performing team
  • Act as a true business leader! Championing culture, diversity and collaboration
  • Deal with key external stakeholders, including banks, auditors and customers

We’d Love To See

  • Board-level finance leadership in international, high-growth environments
  • Proven track record scaling businesses at pace (ideally through exit or major funding events)
  • PE/Investor-facing experience with strong communication and gravitas
  • Have experience of group leadership.
  • A track record of being an autonomous CFO for a growing business.
  • Sector experience will be checked and reviewed.
  • A blend of commercial instinct and financial control
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with excellent academic track record
  • SAP and global systems familiarity a bonus
