This is not just another month-end role. It’s a hands-on group-level position supporting multiple entities and helping shape how finance runs day to day.

The Role

You’ll be right at the heart of group reporting. Month-end, balance sheet, payroll journals, FX exposure, stock and fixed assets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Monthly P&L reporting for each entity including accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and clearing aged items
  • Managing inter-company balances and supporting group alignment
  • Overseeing stock and fixed asset processes
  • Preparing payroll journals and submitting BACS payments
  • Supporting FX tracking and short-term cashflow forecasting
  • Liaising with external auditors and helping with tax submissions
  • Identifying ways to improve processes and reporting
  • Supporting commercial projects and business development as needed

Your Profile

  • Qualified ACCA or CIMA
  • Confident technical skills with solid management accounts experience
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivots and lookups
  • ERP systems experience ideal (Business Central or Sage 50 a bonus)
  • Detail-driven, proactive and not afraid to ask questions
  • Strong communicator who can work with people at all levels
