We Do Group are supporting a founder led, PE backed multi site leisure business as it enters the next phase of its growth.

This Finance Director role has been created to support that next phase. The focus is on building a finance function that supports scale, provides clear commercial insight and enables better decision making as the footprint grows.

This is a hands on leadership role with genuine influence across the business.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Founder and working closely with investors and the wider leadership team, you will take ownership of the finance function end to end.

This role balances strong financial control with commercial thinking. You will be close to the detail while shaping the bigger picture, ensuring finance supports growth rather than slowing it down.

The business operates a multi site model and is building the systems, processes and team required to scale effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function across a growing multi site business
  • Own monthly management accounts, forecasting and budgeting
  • Oversee cashflow management, controls and financial discipline
  • Produce clear, credible board reporting for leadership and investors
  • Act as a commercial partner to the Founder and senior leadership team
  • Support new site openings and expansion decision making
  • Build and develop a finance team fit for scale
  • Improve finance systems, processes and reporting as the business grows
  • Work closely with external advisors, lenders and investors
  • Support the longer term value creation and exit strategy

Your Profile

  • Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Proven experience in a hands on senior finance role
  • Background in multi site, leisure, hospitality, consumer or fast paced operational environments
  • Commercially minded and confident influencing at senior level
  • Comfortable working in founder led and PE backed settings
  • Practical, calm and solutions focused
  • Enjoys building rather than maintaining
