This role will suit someone who has worked in an SME or growing finance function and understands how to implement best practice, embed strong controls and bring clarity around what good looks like.

The Role:

This is a hands on Financial Controller role working closely with the CFO in a lean and ambitious team.

You will take ownership of the day to day finance operation while helping to raise standards, improve visibility and support the leadership team with better insight. It suits someone who enjoys being close to the detail but wants exposure beyond pure reporting.

A role that will grow and evolve as the business does.

What you will be doing

• Owning month end close and management reporting
• Maintaining strong balance sheet control and financial governance
• Managing cash flow, forecasting and working capital
• Supporting audit, statutory accounts and year end processes
• Improving reporting, controls and processes as the business scales
• Partnering closely with the CFO and wider leadership team

What they are looking for

• Qualified accountant ACA ACCA or CIMA
• Experience in pharma or another regulated environment would be ideal
• Comfortable in a hands on role within a growing business
• Strong attention to detail with a commercial mindset
• Someone who wants responsibility, visibility and progression
