Group Reporting Accountant
We Do Group are delighted to be managing an exclusive search to find a new Group Reporting Accountant for a well-known and rapidly expanding property business based in Central London.
£60,000 – £65,000 + Bonus, Car Allowance and strong benefits.
The scope, progression and potential of this role is very exciting. This role would be reporting directly into the Finance Director and will take ownership for all of the Financial Reporting and Compliance across the Group. This business are very ambitious and entrepreneurial. This role is offering the chance to get your hands around something and really have an impact. We are looking for a strong accountant who has a good technical grounding / audit background.
This could suit a Group accounting. Reporting accountant of Financial Accountant looking for a new challenge, or someone super ambitious looking to leave practice.
We need a bright and fun accountant who can ideally tick the following boxes.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
- Experience in financial reporting.
- Group consolidations knowledge.
- Technical understanding of IFRS.
The Role
The successful Chief Accountant is likely to take responsibility for the following:
- Lead the financial reporting and consolidations.
- Lead the statutory reporting process with external auditors.
- Liaise with external tax advisors on corporation tax.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Point of contact for all technical accounting matters. Keeping up to date with new regulations or policies that affect the business.
- Reviewing balance sheets monthly working collaboratively with the management accounting teams.
- Monthly cashflow reporting.
- Monthly management accounts production.
- Involved in monthly board pack production.
- Support on all M&A activity.
- Support on wider finance projects and process improvements
- Support CFO and FD in ad hoc reporting when required
- Advice on process improvements and systems changes.

Salary & Benefits
