Interim Commercial Finance Manager

We Do Group are delighted to be managing an exclusive search to hire an interim Commercial Finance Manager to join one of the most consumer-focused retail businesses in the world.

£80,000 + Car Allowance & Bonus.

12 – 15 Months. (London, 1 day in office)

This role would suit a commercial finance professional who really enjoys adding commercial value and finding commercial solutions. You will get the chance to be directly mentored by a very bright Head of Commercial Finance whilst working closely with an inspirational CFO.

The Role

This is on the commercial end of commercial, it’s all about business growth, analytics, new opportunities and operational support.
The successful Interim Commercial Finance Manager will be involved in the following:
Work as a true commercial finance business partner – really interacting and adding value to the business.
Lead their quarterly and annual planning process.
Directly support marketing, operations and sales.
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of balance sheet to manage risks and opportunity forecasting and reporting.
Work with key external and internal stakeholders.
Create commercial models around new product launches and existing site performance.
Support the Head Of Planning to present periodic updates to the wider business and Leadership Team.
Take a lead on commercial analysis and business case reviews.
Capture key drivers of business performance and own the execution of any cost savings opportunities/ projects.
Support with FP&A – Budgets, forecasts and planning.
Be an innovative thinking, how can we make things better?
Be analytically strong and have a good systems grounding.
Act as a true culture champion.
Work with the wider finance team to improve processes, controls and system.
