We Do Group are hiring a Senior Financial Accountant to join a global brand during an exciting phase of growth and change. This is a core role within the UK finance team – offering responsibility, visibility, and the chance to lead improvements across reporting and controls.

WISH LIST:

  • 1-3 years post-qualification experience in a technical finance role
  • Confident managing reporting, audits, and financial control
  • Calm under pressure, detail-focused, and great with people

THE ROLE:

  • Owning the statutory and group audit process
  • Reviewing and submitting monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Preparing key monthly balance sheets
  • Leading technical accounting queries and papers
  • Reviewing and maintaining the financial control framework
  • Overseeing end-to-end stock accounting (including capital stock)
  • Managing UK Treasury function – including FX, cashflow, and access controls
  • Line managing the Junior Financial Accountant
  • Identifying and delivering process improvements
  • Supporting delivery of accurate forecasts and insightful reporting

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)
  • Effective communicator – written & verbal
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and analytics

SALARY & BENEFITS:

  • £65,000 – £70,000
  • 10% bonus
  • 3 days in office (Woking), 2 days from home
  • 25 days holiday
  • 8% pension
