Are you an experienced AP specialist looking for a step up? Do you thrive in high-volume environments where structure and ownership are key?

We Do Group are hiring on behalf of a global brand going through an exciting period of change. With a high-volume, PO-driven environment and a growing team already in place, they’re now looking for a steady, capable Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take on ownership of complex accounts, support others, and help professionalise the function.

You’ll be joining a well-established, people-first business known for internal mobility and team culture.

WISH LIST

  • Solid AP experience in a high-volume, structured team
  • Confident supporting junior staff and mentoring best practice
  • Level-headed, clear communicator – comfortable with pushback when needed
  • AAT Level 2+

THE ROLE

  • Process invoices and credits accurately and to deadline
  • Own relationships with business-critical suppliers
  • Prepare and run weekly payment batches
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Support onboarding of new suppliers and ongoing amendments
  • Handle the most complex and sensitive supplier accounts
  • Share knowledge with junior team members and guide process queries
  • Own daily use of ticketing system and invoice scanning tools
  • Monitor invoice KPIs and identify training needs or blockers
  • Collaborate with the AP Manager on improvement initiatives
  • Support key month-end tasks including reconciliations

YOUR PROFILE

  • AAT Level 2+
  • Effective communicator – written & verbal
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experienced Accounts Payable skillset
  • Steady, methodical approach – not easily flustered

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • £33,000 - £35,000
  • 8% bonus
  • Hybrid: 3 days in Woking, 2 from home
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
