Are you a qualified Financial Controller looking for your next interim challenge? Do you thrive in hands-on roles where you can own the numbers, business partner & improve processes?

We’re hiring for a Financial Controller to join a growing business that’s scaling rapidly across multiple markets. This is a high-impact, 5-month assignment covering reporting, FP&A and business partnering during a key growth phase.

You’ll be the right hand to the Finance Director, managing the team day to day and lead ing on the month-end close while supporting budgeting, board reporting, and financial insights.

  • Strong month-end and financial control experience in multi-entity businesses
  • Confident working closely with operational teams to challenge costs and improve performance
  • Proactive and commercially-minded, with a problem-solving mindset

THE ROLE

  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for the UK
  • Own balance sheet control and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Deliver timely monthly management packs and variance analysis
  • Lead UK budgeting and reforecasting cycles with input from operational teams
  • Monitor key KPIs and highlight risks/opportunities
  • Analyse key cost drivers and offer recommendations for improvement
  • Business partner with operational stakeholders to support business growth
  • Manage the UK financial control framework and support audit readiness
  • Align UK reporting with Group consolidation processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, systems, and controls
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to streamline reporting tools

YOUR PROFILE

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA)
  • Effective communicator – written & verbal
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Rounded experience in reporting, FP&A and business partnering
  • Available to start 23rd Feb

SALARY & BENEFITS

  • £500 per day (inside IR35)
  • 3 days in-office (London), 2 from home
  • 5-month contract, starting 23rd Feb
