Financial Controller

Lifestyle | International Group | Leadership Opportunity

Farnborough | Hybrid Working

£65,000 – £75,000 + Bonus

Most Financial Controller roles talk about controls. This one is about creating confidence.

This is not a traditional Financial Controller role.

You would be joining a recognised international business with the backing of a larger group but the feel of a close-knit UK operation.

Reporting into an impressive Finance Director, this opportunity offers broad ownership across financial control, statutory accounting, audit, treasury and leadership of an established finance team.

Cash management is a key focus and the international nature of the business creates exposure to multi-currency operations, forecasting and financial risk.

Alongside leading a high-quality month end process, there is genuine opportunity to improve systems, strengthen controls and help shape how finance operates moving forward.

Ideal for someone who enjoys building, influencing and staying close enough to the detail to make a real impact.

WHO THIS COULD SUIT

One thing worth mentioning. My client is deliberately open minded on profile and sees this working for three different types of people:

Option 1 | First Move from Practice

A newly qualified ACA looking to make their first move from practice into industry and wanting broad exposure from day one.

Option 2 | Step Up into Leadership

A newly qualified accountant already in industry who wants to move into a more visible role and begin developing leadership capability.

Option 3 | Established Finance Leader

An experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller who enjoys operating at this level and wants broad ownership whilst staying close enough to the detail to genuinely influence outcomes.

The common theme is less about title and more about mindset. They are looking for someone curious, commercially aware and excited by the opportunity to help shape and improve.
